Frequently Asked Questions

Expert advice on soundproofing and acoustics for your home.

How do I know which soundproofing material is right for my project?

The right material depends on whether you are trying to block noise (using mass-loaded vinyl or insulation) or improve sound quality within a room (using acoustic foam or panels). Our product descriptions include 'Sound Transmission Class' (STC) ratings to help you choose.

Do you offer international shipping for heavy acoustic panels?

Currently, we ship within the continental United States and Canada. Due to the weight and size of bulk soundproofing materials, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the total weight and your delivery zone.

Can I return acoustic foam if I've already applied adhesive?

We can only accept returns on items in their original, resellable condition. Once adhesive or spray glue has been applied to panels or foam, they are no longer eligible for return or exchange.

What is the typical lead time for custom-cut sound insulation?

Standard stock items ship within 2-3 business days. Custom-cut orders or specialized acoustic clouds typically require a lead time of 7-10 business days before dispatch.

Are your soundproofing materials fire-rated for residential use?

Yes, the majority of our acoustic treatments and insulation batts are Class A fire-rated. Please check the 'Specifications' tab on individual product pages for specific safety certifications.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and offer financing options through Affirm for larger home renovation projects.
